Ken talks about his music:

'I play and write what I feel and I play what makes me happy. I feel that my music connects with people of all ages. It's not necessarily different but it is unique and means something different to each person who listens to my music.'

'My music is a mix of different genres ranging from rock and blues to funk soul and folk. I mix an old school sound with a new twist.'

'I started playing music when I was 13 and I recorded my first CD when I was 18. During this time I played in several high school bands that played a variety of cover songs. This lead me to write my own material and helped me to develop the sound that I have today.'

Major influences: I have a lot of rhythm and blues and rock influences. They are Tom Petty, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bob Dylan, The Allman Brothers Band, The Black Crowes, Pink Floyd, James Brown, Stone Temple Pilots and Van Morrison.

Why it's important for me to connect with music fans and what do you have to offer them as an artist: 'A musician thrives on their fans and on capturing the imagination of new fans. It's great when people perceive what you do as important as well as adding to their enjoyment. As an artist I give 100% with every live performance and CD I create. The songs I write are a reflection of the world we live in and are not just stories about myself but rather the stories of others and their experiences. I enjoy meeting new people and I hope that my music gives the listener the same enjoyment that I get from making music.'
